Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse Live In Concert at Golden Gate Theatre

A box office hit around the world, Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse is heading back to the big screen. This time, the film screening is bringing along a live full orchestra, scratch DJ, and various percussions and electric elements, bringing its iconic soundtrack to life. It's an immersive concert-to-film experience like no other. The film in its full glory will be played in full, and its sonic elements will blend seamlessly with the set of live performers.

Following Into the Spider-Verse's live extravaganza, it's the sequel's turn! Composer Daniel Pemberton just announced that the second chapter of the Spider-Verse saga is making its way for a U.S. trek of its LIVE IN CONCERT experience.

"I always thought it’d be impossible to do live, because they jump between so many different ideas and genres. But a long time ago, I did a couple of cues at a one-off film music festival, and I was really surprised at how effective it worked," Pemberton told The Hollywood Reporter. "So that got my brain thinking about trying to do the whole film live, and we did a couple of tests that went down phenomenally."

The film is indeed known for its genre-bending music and next-level animation styles. Drawing inspiration from '90s rave and club scenes in London, its catchy hits and hard-hitting synths have rocked the world. It hits the spot! Converging these sonic elements into the film's unique animation and story, it's an experience like no other.

Based from the experiences of audiences and critics alike from last year's run of Live in Concert Into the Spider-Verse, it sure is an experience you can't miss.

On the Record Magazine shared that it "offered an interactive and immersive experience for the audience. The live soundtrack allowed the audience to connect with Miles throughout his journey of self-discovery and redemption." Sharing that "The music aligned with the scenes seamlessly, blending with the movie’s original sounds and greatly intensifying the film’s suspenseful elements."
