Golden Gate Theatre
Your kids are going to love this one! All of their favorite characters from the most popular shows on the Disney Jr. network are on tour with a live performance that includes most of the all-time beloved Disney characters. The Disney Junior Live: Let's Play live show is coming to the Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco on Saturday, September 21st, 2024.
This means that Mickey and Minnie Mouse are going to be sharing the stage with Spidy and his friends! It’s the cross-over that you never knew you needed but won’t be able to keep your eyes off of. This could be one of those days that your kids will remember for a long time. It’s also a show that grown-ups will be able to genuinely enjoy. Everything about how the show is crafted makes it ideal for kids in every way. Here are just a few things that you’ll want to keep in mind! Doors are at 4 for Disney Junior Live at the Golden Gate Theater. You may wish to arrive a little bit earlier to find your seats quicker. From there, the show starts at around 4:30 to 5. It’s a 90-minute show tops with two 37-minute acts. You have a 15-minute intermission to go get candy and have your little ones back on track for the second part. None of the design of the show is tedious. The idea is that both parents and kids will be able to enjoy the event, not endure it! That’s why it’s not overly long by any standard.
You’ll have Mickey and his Friends, all of the traditional characters, taking the stage. There’s going to be a set by characters from the Little Mermaid show as well as from the Puppy Dog Pals and SuperKitties. If your kids are fans of any of those shows, plus Spider-Man on Disney Jr, they’re going to be eager to get to the Golden Gate Theater on September 21st. The show is a mixture of projections of scenes from these TV series and mostly dance numbers performed by the characters and actors on stage. These “out of costume” actors are going to be the ones that are in charge of hyping up the kids for the night! This is the Disney brand, you can be certain they know how to train these cast members to deal with young children and put on a show.
This tour has been a success in previous iterations, expect the 2024 version to be no different. Now, keep in mind that where you’re sitting this evening at the Golden Gate Theater could really impact your child’s experience. If you have smaller children, try to get them in the front rows at any level of the theater. That’s going to make it easier for them to see. The good thing about this theater is that it has many levels and long rows, so you may be able to find a seat where you don’t have as many people in front of you.
