Insidious: The Further You Fear at Golden Gate Theatre

"You'll wish it was a movie" is one of the lines in the promos for Insidious: The Further You Fear. It's one of the most accurate statements ever made! One of the only saving graces when you're seeing a scary movie is knowing that the characters aren't going to pop out of the screen. Therefore, they can't really hurt you. In this case, the characters will walk among you! If you're looking for a thrill that's capable of keeping you up at night, look no further. Having said this, when you're laying in bed on Sunday after watching the show, and you can't shut your eyes even though you have to go to work on Monday, remember you were warned.

This experience is not like anything that you've been a part of. Sure, you may have been to haunted houses at theme parks and been scared by the well hidden teen in a vampire costume. Timing and sneakiness are a part of this show. That doesn't mean those are the only tricks that Insidious: The Further You Fear has up its sleeve. However, from the moment that you get surprised by one of these characters coming from somewhere you never expected, you'll be on your toes for the rest of the show. That's exactly where they want you! The truth is, you're not going to find a better horror experience than this in the Bay Area, especially in the middle of May.

Finding the right spot inside the Golden Gate Theatre can be key to the entire experience. You want to make sure that you keep the action in front of you. With this show, you can't just assume that everything is going to be happening directly on the stage ... can you? Try and find a seat in the middle of the theater so that you have a wider perspective of everything.
